Kathryn Bigelow won the best director Oscar for the film of the Iraq war “and the Hurt Locker.”
Bigelow is the first woman in the 82-year history of the Academy Awards in Hollywood to win the grand prize for filmmakers.
Among those Bigelow won from her former husband James Cameron, and Best Director winner in 1997 in “Titanic,” which was nominated this time for his sci fi scenery of “Avatar.” Bigelow and Cameron were married 1989-91. (more…)

Was filled through the candidates. I’m surprised Matt nominated. I saw this movie and he did not give a good performance, but nah.
Harelson wood, some of which do not see. So he will not win.

Los Angeles, California, Sandra Bullock has won the best actress award at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, the first person to create a worst and the best price in the same year the Observer won.
Sandra Bullock has told the media she did not think her chances to win the Oscar for best actress was not very high.
“I am most pessimistic about myself,” Sandra Bullock said hours before the award.
Just a day before, Sandra Bullock has won herself a Razzie Award for pathetic performance in the film All About Steve. (more…)
